Mark your calendars for the much-anticipated Taste of Greece festival, returning to East Longmeadow on October 17 and 18, 2025.

Hosted by St. Luke Greek Orthodox Church, this annual event offers a delightful immersion into Greek culture, featuring authentic cuisine, live entertainment, and community spirit.

Event Details:

Friday, October 17, 2025: 2 PM – 8 PM

Saturday, October 18, 2025: 11 AM – 8 PM

Location: St. Luke Greek Orthodox Church, 400 Prospect St, East Longmeadow, MA 01028

Attendees can savor a variety of traditional Greek dishes prepared by parishioners, including gyros, spanakopita, and the beloved sweet bread, tsoureki.

Beyond the culinary delights, the festival will showcase live music and folk dance performances, offering a vibrant atmosphere for all ages.

In response to rising ingredient costs, the church introduces The Giving Tree initiative.

This program invites patrons to contribute towards expenses, ensuring that more proceeds support the church's ministries.

For instance, a $25 donation covers fresh herbs and spices for a day, while $400 funds the ingredients for a batch of tsoureki.

Donations can be made online or by mailing a check payable to "St. Luke Taste of Greece, Giving Tree" to the church's address.

The Taste of Greece festival has deep roots in the community.

Over 30 years ago, local residents envisioned a new Greek Orthodox parish in East Longmeadow.

Initial festivals were pivotal in raising funds for the church's establishment.

Today, the event continues to honor that legacy, bringing together family, friends, and neighbors to celebrate Greek heritage.
