The Miss Western Massachusetts Scholarship Competition is set for October 11th at the Leslie Phillips Theater at Holyoke Community College.
Prospective contestants must adhere to the following deadlines and requirements:
Paperwork Submission:
All required documents must be submitted electronically by October 1, 2025, at 11:59 PM.
Required documents include:
- Fact Sheet
- Community Service Initiative
- Talent Music/Talent Description - HerStory Details
- Miss Western Massachusetts Scholarship Organization Contract Addendum

Pre-Pageant Rehearsal:
A mandatory rehearsal will be held the evening before the pageant.
Participants should be prepared to run through the entire show, including choreography for the opening number, walking patterns for fitness and evening gown segments, and talent performances.
All competition shoes are required.
This is a closed rehearsal; no family or friends are permitted.
Pageant Day:
Arrival time is to be determined.
Expect a full day at Holyoke Community College, including a closed rehearsal on stage after interviews and prior to the show.
During interviews, contestants will have time to practice talent and walking on stage.
The day will conclude with the crowning of the new Miss and Teen Western Massachusetts titleholders.
Financial Requirements:
- Miss America Opportunity Membership Program:
Competitors must join the MAO Membership to participate in local competitions.
Due by October 1.
Visit the Miss America website, click on "Sign Up," select "Register," complete the form, pay the one-time per season membership fee of $49.99, and submit your membership.
Upon membership confirmation, competitors will receive the Delegate Agreement to complete and submit to MAO before selecting local competitions.
- $50 Registration Fee Donation to Miss Western MA Organization:
Payable by check or Venmo.
Due by October 1.
- American Heart Association Fundraising Fee:
Minimum $30 fundraising to support the American Heart Association in collaboration with Miss America.
Registration due by October 1.
Funds due by October 10.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Miss: Ages 18-28 (must be no older than 28 on September 30, 2026, and no younger than 18 on September 1, 2026).
- Teen: Ages 14-18 (must be no younger than 14 by September 1, 2026, and no older than 18 on September 30, 2026).
- Must live, work, or attend school full-time in Western Massachusetts.
For teens born between October 1, 2007, and September 1, 2008, you may choose either category.
