He was surrendered to us because he took a bit too much interest in the pet birds and fish in his previous home—clearly, his curiosity knows no bounds! This high-energy boy needs adopters who can keep up with him. Active play is a must to help meet his physical and mental needs, and he’ ll thrive in a home that enjoys engaging with their cat. Onyx would do best with other non-alpha but playful feline companions who can match his energy without overwhelming him. Cat-respectful dogs should be just fine. Onyx is a social shadow who will most likely want to be wherever his people are, taking part in the action and chatting about it along the way.
