Meet Hulk!

Meet Hulk! Hulk is a fun-loving, playful boy with a big personality and an even bigger smile. He absolutely loves being outside—whether it’s exploring the yard, playing fetch, or heading out for a walk. Food is one of his greatest motivators, and walks are one of his favorite adventures, though fair warning: Hulk is a strong and enthusiastic guy who’s very excited about where he’s going! This happy boy greets everyone he meets with a wagging tail, a joyful grin, and often a toy in his mouth, ready to invite you into a game of fetch. Hulk thrives on human attention and would love a home where he can soak up all the love for himself. He prefers to be the only dog in the home and likes to keep his food to himself, so a single-dog household would be his ideal match. He would do well in a home with teens and up.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s full of energy, affection, and personality, Hulk is ready to be your one-and-only best friend.

Ready to Adopt?

You have two options:

#1- VISIT IN PERSON
Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You’ll be able to meet available dogs in the shelter.
(Dogs in foster care are not available for in-person visits.)

#2- ADOPT REMOTELY OR PLACE A 24-HOUR HOLD**
If you’re ready to adopt without meeting the dog first, or you’d like to place a non-refundable $25 hold to reserve a dog for 24 hours, just call or email us: (413) 781-4000 x 1 springfield@dakinhumane.org. We are often helping other clients when you call, but we return voicemails and emails within 24 hours.

**Holds are not available for puppies under six months, on Saturdays, or during adoption events.

All adult dog adoption fees include;
-spay/neuter
-rabies and kennel cough vaccinations
- heartworm test
-current parvo/distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian)
-microchip implanted & registered to adopter
-treatment of fleas & ticks
-veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin
-free vet exam within 30 days of adoption with participating veterinarians
Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your pet.
